>> Sizing
Crickett's diapers come in two sizes, "Newborn to 20+"
and "Toddler+".
- Newborn to 20+ fits newborns up to 20 lbs., and maybe a little
more depending on your baby's shape. These are generally used during
the first year.
- Toddler+ fits toddlers from 20 lbs. and up. You switch over to
these when your baby outgrows the Newborn to 20+ diaper, usually
around one year old. These diapers will then last until potty training.
Bummis covers come in five sizes, as shown below. This table
explains how to choose a cover to work with our diapers.

Newborn |
7 - 10 lbs. |
N/A |
We have never used this cover because it's really
small. |
|
| |
Small |
8 - 15 lbs. |
Newborn to 20+ |
This is the right size cover for our diaper on a
newborn. It may only be used about two or three months because
of how fast babies grow. |
|
| |
Medium |
15 - 30 lbs. |
Newborn to 20+ |
This size fits babies a couple of months until close
to one year. These will work on a newborn, but they will look
a little big the first few weeks. |
|
| |
Large |
30 - 40 lbs. |
Toddler+ |
Bummis advertises the weight as 30 - 40 lbs, but
they really fit from 20 lbs. and up. These work great when your
baby is close to one year old and usually last until potty training. |

| |
X-large |
30+ lbs. |
Toddler+ |
This size cover is for very large toddlers. |

Our recommendations:
Diapers
We use Crickett's Newborn to 20+ from the first day until they
are outgrown, usually around one year old. Then we switch to Toddler+
until potty training.
Covers
We use Bummis small covers the first few weeks. You may skip these
and start with medium covers if you want to save money. We use medium
covers until our baby is close to one year old. Then we switch to
large covers until potty training.
